Hi Everyone! Thank you for checking out my blog and although there are still some great photos here of examples of work you can have done, I just wanted to make sure that I direct you to my Facebook page, Lucky Star Faux Finishes, so you can view more current projects. I am just updating face book now because it is so much easier to upload the photos from a project once I finish and get back to you if you message me there or make any comments etc. If you would like to see my recent work please go to face book and search for Lucky Star Faux Finishes there and you can see some current photos!
I also offer painting services so if you would like a room painted just give me a call as well!
Thank you so much and I would love the opportunity to work with you on any project :)

Lots of changes and exciting a fun projects have been in the works for LSF in the last few years! My updates are mostly on FACEBOOK now at www.facebook.com/ luckystarfauxfinishes so please check there for recent photos and updates at this time! With the smartphone it has been easier to post to facbook rather than this site . I apologize for lack of updates but I hope some of the photos on this page can still give an overall general idea of the textures for walls I can make and the furniture finishes I can do as well. If you have any photos or ideas when we meet I can always use those and definitely make a custom sample board for you before any work begins! Since 2011, I was honored to work on the set of Iron Man 3 for most of the year, I also worked with Eric Tomosunas and his wife Audrey of Swirl Films, a production company here in Wilmington painting TV show sets! I have worked with Ash Aziz on his restaurants, Towne, the Kitchen, and the most recent Osteria Cicchetti in Monkey Junction! I completed the wall finish throughout and the bar and other woodwork in the restaurant. This was an incredible project and one I am most proud of! I have also worked on some beautiful homes on Figure 8 island and Landfall and have met new Designers and Builders in the area! It has been a fun few years and I hope to continue to grow and work in our beautiful city! Again, please check facebook now for the most recent updates or give me a call at 910-538-5465 to set up an appointment. Thanks so much and I appreciate your interest!

It has been a wonderful, creative, and fun few years since I last updated my site! 2011 was very interesting and a lot of my projects were ceilings and kitchen cabinetry. I did a lot of plaster effects and glazes on ceilings which was great because it can be a forgotten surface and it is so impressive once it is decorated! I have also been lucky to do more commerical work in 2011 and 2012 so far!I did many different faux finishes in a dentist office, a restaurant, an art gallery, hair salon, restaurant, season 9 of One Tree Hill , and I just wrapped up a faux wood grain project for Suntrust Bank! I am trully greatful for all the wonderful clients I have met in the last few years and I am very appreciative of all the work that has come my way! My current and project for the summer will be back at EUE Screen Gems Studios! I can't give many details but it is an outstanding project so far and I am excited to be a part of it!!! Hope everyone has a great summer and I will post updates as soon as I can!

It has been a very exciting year for Lucky Star! I have had great opportunities to travel out of town for work. I have been to Chapel Hill, Wallace, Greenville and even a project in Va. Beach!
It has been a busy time for sure! I have been helping a lot of families spruce up the house for spring and summer and now with fall approaching we all will be decorating for the holidays!
I have new finishes I would love to share with you so if you are interested in adding some new texture or combination colors to your walls, furniture or kitchen cabinets please give me a call :)
